Application
It is formulated for cleaning RO, UF, NF, and MF membranes, as well as heat exchangers, boilers, piping, and vessels, targeting inorganic deposits.
AQUATREAT 841 is suitable for food-industry applications (E330) and drinking- water systems, and it is less hazardous than strong mineral acids such as hydrochloric (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄).

Dosage & Capacity
Membrane cleaning: circulate a 5% solution of AQUATREAT 841. Always consult the membrane manufacturer’s guidelines. A cleaning procedure is available on request.

Equipment cleaning: a 20-25% solution of AQUATREAT 841 is circulated with an acidresistant pump. When the pH of the solution rises above 3, AQUATREAT 841 is added and circulation is continued until the pH remains stable (cleaning complete). After cleaning, a 2% NEUTRALCAL solution is circulated to neutralize remaining acid and to passivate the metal.
