AQUATREAT 522 is a liquid, broad-spectrum antiscalant, used to prevent fouling and scaling in reverse osmosis and nanofiltration systems for brackish and sea water applications. AQUATREAT 522 is a super concentrated product based on a mixture of high-tech polymers and strong sequestrants that prevents and gradually removes organic and inorganic deposits, avoiding corrosion. AQUATREAT 522 does not contain wetting agents nor strong complexing agents such as NTA or EDTA (which can cause corrosion). AQUATREAT 522 is NSF/ANSI 60 certified and can be used for the production of drinking water at a maximum concentration of 10 mg/l on the feed water. AQUATREAT 522 can also be used to clean boilers, scrubbers or other systems where wetting agents must be avoided due to environmental reasons.
