AQUATREAT 553 is a liquid, broad-spectrum antiscalant, used to prevent fouling and scaling in reverse osmosis and nanofiltration systems. AQUATREAT 553 contains a reducing agent to neutralize oxidizing compounds. AQUATREAT 553 is a product based on a reducing agent, a mixture of high-tech polymers and strong sequestrants that prevents and gradually removes organic and inorganic deposits, avoiding corrosion. AQUATREAT 553 does not contain wetting agents nor strong complexing agents such as NTA or EDTA (which can cause corrosion). AQUATREAT 553 is NSF/ANSI 60 certified and can be used for the production of drinking water at a maximum concentration of 50 mg/l on the feed water.
